Texas
Skydiving Center is open for jumping
seven days a week.
First-jump classes are regularly
scheduled every Saturday, Sunday,
and holiday. Weekday classes are also
available--all you have to do is call
to set one up. To arrange a weekday
first-jump class, please try to give
us at least a few days' notice.
Tandem freefall jumps and all returning
student jumps can be scheduled for
any day. Tandem and student jumps
are scheduled every hour.as little
as two hours for the instruction and
jump.
Summer weekend schedules often fill
up, so we recommend calling in your
reservation as soon as your plans
are firm. If you'd like a video of
your jump, please let us know when
you make your reservation.
Weekend first-jump classes begin
at 9:30 a.m.; you should arrive here
by 9:00 am to sign in. Weekday first-jump
classes begin at 10:00 a.m.
The static-line first-jump course
lasts about three hours, and the accelerated
freefall class about five. There are
also several breaks during the class
for drill and practice. Static-line
jumpers usually start jumping at about
3:00, and AFF jumpers at about 4:00.
Class size, class cooperation, weather,
and other factors influence these
times, however. When you sign up for
the first-jump course, you should
leave your schedule open so that you
can concentrate fully on the instruction
and jump, and not worry about being
late for another appointment. Some
classes run as late at 8 p.m. in the
summer.
