From Austin:
Take Rt. 290 east, heading
toward Houston.
(If you're coming up I-35, use
exit 238 to get on 290. Do not
use
the exit marked "290 east"
that is in south Austin at Ben
White!)
Or you can take Parmer or 183
south to Manor and then turn
left
on 290.
Or you can take 2222 east out
of town and stay on it until
it becomes 290.
Stay on 290 for about 20-25
minutes, through Elgin, then
another 3 miles.
You'll see a flashing yellow
light and a Mobil station on
your left. Take
a left at the light, onto Rt.
696 east.
Stay on 696 about 20 min.,
until the road ends at a T-intersection
in
Lexington. Then, there are a
few turns in Lexington to get
to us:
At the T-intersection, turn
right and go about a mile to
the Stop sign.
Turn right at the stop, and
go another mile. You'll see
a "50 mph"
sign and our blue-and-white
sign on your right and a "Lexington
Cemetery" sign on your
left.
Take an immediate left. You'll
be at an intersection with a
flashing red light.
Go straight through the intersection,
for 2 miles. We're on the right.
There is a sign, and you'll
see the fuel tanks near the
road and
the orange cones on the power
lines. Turn right into our gravel
driveway.
In case you get off-track in
Lexington, we're on 696, so
just find the one
and only flashing light in Lexington,
turn east on 696, and go 2 miles.
For any problems or questions,
call us at 979-773-9100.
From College
Station:
Go south/west on Rt. 21, heading
toward Caldwell and Bastrop.
About 7 miles past Caldwell,
look for FM 696 westbound, toward
Lexington. Take that right turn,
going west on FM 696, for about
10 miles. We are just 2 miles
shy of Lexington and the intersection
of 696 and Rt. 77. You'll see
a blue and white sign and you'll
see our fuel tanks near the
road and the orange cones on
the power lines. We are on the
left.
If you reach Rt. 77 and the
blinking light in Lexington,
you've gone too far, so turn
around and go back 2.1 miles
east on 696, and this time we'll
be on the right.
From Houston:
There are a few ways to get
here from Houston, depending
on which part of
Houston you're coming from.
Whichever way works best for
you (Rt. 290, for

to head for the town of Giddings,
which is
located at the intersection
of 290 and 77, and is about
45 min. east of
Austin.
In Giddings, take Rt. 77 north
toward Lexington and Rockdale.
Lexington is
just 15 min. north of Giddings.
At the flashing light on Rt.
77, in Lexington, turn right
onto FM 696,
heading east. Go 2 miles and
turn right into our gravel driveway.

From
San Antonio:
Take I-35 north. At San Marcos,
turn east on Rt. 21, heading
toward
Bastrop (exit 205).
Go through Bastrop, for about
25 minutes. Be careful on Rt.
21 -- there
are 3 places where you have
to turn in order to stay on
Rt. 21. One of
these occurs very soon after
you get on Rt. 21 from I-35,
and the other
two occur around Bastrop.
Rt. 21 intersects with Rt.
77 about 25 min. east of Bastrop.
